I was talking to a bloke fitting a TT 1.8t engine to his Elise apparently there

are kits now to make it easy, I bet it wouldn`t be too hard to use the VAG

1.9tdi in it`s place.

Don`t see the point in PAS on a Ka unless you`re a frail old granny. All

it does is rob you of bhp.

So? - is that some feeble excuse for Ford continuing with an engine that

should have been replaced 20 years ago?

It`s not cute. It`s too curvy and has a fat arse.

Just like you like your women.

Fiat family design cues, maybe, but they managed to get the proportions

right. To this day, there`s no better design for a small car than a cube

on wheels.

They`re hardly adding massive amounts of weight. The `best stereo` was

still a bit laughable even for it`s day. I put central locking and

electric windows down as must haves these days. I wouldn`t buy another

`main` car without climate, but that`s because I wouldn`t drive a city

car every day either.

> I think you`re getting confused between "stripped out" and "couldn`t find

Bollocks. There`s massive amounts of space in a Cinq. Aircon would ahve

been a challenge, but that`s just down to super-efficient use of

available space.

> So you don`t drive anything without PAS, is that it? You said last week

All 3 current cars have PAS, the Golf (when running) didn`t - but VW had

the chassis set up well enough not to need PAS, even on 185/60HR14

tyres.

But it`s significantly smaller than a Ka. It does make *better* use of

road space than a Ka, though.

And this opinion was formed why? - could it be the 2 total heaps of

shite I`ve owned in the past?

Erm, you give Ford *far* too much credit. Even today, they`re struggling

to produce engines that are as good as the FIRE lump - the only one`s

that have come close were designed by Yamaha `cos they couldn`t do it

themselves. There`s also no way Ford would have come up with something

that was styled so well.

`Sporting` is relative and also based on the trim levels. Lowered,

stiffened suspension, sports seats, leather steering wheel / gear knob,

red seatbelts and a fizzy little engine qualifies it as `Sporting` in

the same way that you can have an original Cinq. Abarth.

But you wouldn`t understand as you`ve never owned anything even remotely

Sporting. Your history is of owning MOR pieces of mainstream shite.

> Anyway, is the Cinquecento featured in Gran Turismo 4? Oh, look, no it`s

> not. But the pushrod 1.3 Ka is...

As if that`s a measure.

Fucktard.
